In the public interest

The Public Interest Communications Summer Institute was a gathering of academics and practitioners organized by the University of Florida and hosted at Howard University in Washington, DC. At the inaugural gathering, participants talked about how to develop a curriculum for students interest in public interest communications, how to take the lessons out of the classroom and into the community and bridge the divide between researchers and practitioners.
